Agroconnect India Private Limited

Agroconnect India Private Limited is based at the home of Sumant Kumar Jaiswal in Gandhi Nagar. This is in the Ratanpur area. We use a portion of the house as our office and storage area. It’s a typical residential street, so it’s usually pretty quiet except for when we have deliveries coming through. We started this to help connect different parts of the agricultural world here in Ratanpur. It’s mostly just us making phone calls and coordinating between different groups. We don’t have a big storefront or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the back room surrounded by files and ledgers. Sumant is usually around to handle the main details. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones trying to track down where things are or when they’ll arrive. It’s not the most glamorous way to work, but it gets the job done. Sometimes we have to go out to the fields ourselves to see what’s happening. We’ve been in Gandhi Nagar for some time and the neighbors are used to the extra activity at the house. We don’t use a lot of fancy tech, just the basics to keep things moving. Ratanpur is a good place to be for this kind of work because we are close to so many farms. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay organized. It's a simple life.
