Shri Vasan Vidyamandir

Shri Vasan Vidyamandir is located out in Vasan, which is part of the Gandhinagar district. It is much quieter out here compared to the main city. You see a lot more greenery and open fields around the school. The building is a simple structure that fits in with the village surroundings. Most of the students come from the nearby houses or small farms. You won't find any big fancy labs or high-tech stuff here. We have the usual classrooms with blackboards and old-style benches. The morning starts with a simple assembly in the open courtyard. Sometimes a cow or a goat wanders near the gate, which is just normal life in Vasan. The teachers usually come from the city or bigger towns nearby, so they have a bit of a commute every morning. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, so the kids and staff bring their own food and eat under the trees when the weather is nice. It is a very slow-paced kind of place. We don't have the rush of the city traffic or the noise of big markets. The main thing is just getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids show up even during the harvesting season. It is just a local school doing its thing for the village kids. Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep the doors open and try to make sure everyone learns something by the time the final bell rings.
