We are located out at Plot No. 858 in the Kothari Industrial Estate. It is right on the Rakanpur-Santej Road. Mamata Energy Pvt Ltd has been operating from this specific spot for a long while now. It is a bit of a drive to get out here if you are coming from the main city, but it is a lot quieter than the central areas. The estate is quite large and spread out, and we have got a decent amount of space on our plot for our needs. There is a lot of dust from the main road sometimes, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon, so we are always dusting off the desks and equipment. The building is simple, mostly just functional rooms and a larger space for the heavier gear. We have a small yard out back where some old parts are kept under a tarp. Most of the people working here are from the surrounding villages or the nearby towns. We usually start the day very early before it gets too hot to work comfortably. There’s a small tea shop just down the road where everyone tends to go around eleven for a quick break. It is not a high-tech looking office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a practical building in an industrial zone. We keep things running as best as we can without making too much of a fuss about things. (251 words)
