LUNAR ELECTRONICS

Lunar Electronics is based at B-48 in the GIDC Electronics Estate, Sector 25. This area is full of similar businesses, so we fit right in. Our unit isn't huge, but it's enough for the work we do. We have workbenches lined up against the walls and lots of small parts stored in plastic bins. It can get a bit cluttered when we are in the middle of a big project, but we usually know where everything is. The GIDC estate is well-planned, but it still has that industrial feel to it. There’s a lot of coming and going during the day with couriers and parts suppliers. We don't really have a formal showroom. Most of our clients just call us or come by to discuss technical things at the workbench. We focus on the electronics side of things, which means a lot of soldering and testing. It’s quiet work for the most part, except for the occasional beep from a testing machine. We’ve been here in Sector 25 for a long time. The building is showing its age a bit, but it serves its purpose. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decorations. We’d rather just have good tools. It’s a simple operation run by people who have been doing this for years. We just keep at it day after day. It is a quiet place and we like it.
