We are located out on the Santej-Vadsar Road, specifically at Block 117 and 119. It’s a bit of a drive out to Santej in Tal Kalol, but it’s where we have all our space. Having two blocks helps us keep things separated—one side for the heavy stuff and the other for the office and storage. The road out here gets pretty dusty when the trucks go by, but you get used to that after a week or two. We spend a lot of time walking between the two blocks, checking on how things are moving along. It’s an industrial area, so there aren’t many places to grab a bite, which means we usually bring our own tiffins from home. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the work to worry about that right now. Most of the people working here have been with us for years, so we all know each other’s habits. It’s a bit out of the way for some, but for us, Santej feels like home. We see the seasons change through the big loading doors. When it rains, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can’t hear yourself think, but it’s a good sound. We just keep moving and getting the orders out through the gates on time.
