Food Basket Farm

We are over in Sector 6, not too far from the Central Bus Stand. If you're looking for the New England Journal Of Medicine office, we’re right near there on Road No. 2. It’s a busy corner because of all the buses coming and going all day long. The noise never really stops, but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the farm stuff and making sure things are moving like they should. The shop gets a bit messy with all the crates and bags coming in from the trucks. We don't have a cleaning crew or anything, so we just sweep up ourselves when we get a spare minute between customers. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving things around the floor. The lights in the back flicker sometimes, but we haven't gotten around to fixing them yet. We get a mix of people coming in—some travelers from the bus stand and locals who live in the sector. It’s interesting to see who walks through the door. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a place that handles food items and keeps the business going. Every day is pretty much the same routine. We open up, check what's arrived, and start the day. It keeps us busy and out of trouble, and that's about all we ask for at the end of the day.
