Our warehouse and office are at Plot No. 3004/1 in GIDC Phase-3 over in Chhatral. Swaraj Seeds Company Pvt. Ltd. is basically just a group of people who understand seeds and farming. We have been in this part of Chhatral for years. The building is a bit older now and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it does the job. Inside, you will see a lot of sacks piled up and the smell of grain is everywhere. It’s a dusty environment, but that is part of the work. We don't have any receptionists in suits or fancy lobby furniture. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back checking on the inventory or talking to a driver about a delivery route. We use simple tools and we rely on what we have learned over time. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to provide seeds to the people who need them. It’s a basic business run by regular folks. We don't have a lot of rules other than getting the work done right. Most of the staff has been here since the start, so we are more like a family than a company. We just do our bit every day and stay focused on the tasks.
