Stone-X Industries

We are located at Shed No. 518/1, right by the Babalpura bus stop. It’s a convenient spot because it makes it easy for our workers to get here, and everyone knows where the bus stop is. At Stone-X Industries, the work is heavy and often quite messy. We deal with stone, so there is usually a layer of fine dust over everything in the shed. We use water to keep the dust down during the cutting, which makes the floor a bit slippery, so we all wear heavy boots. It’s a very physical job. Moving the slabs around takes a lot of effort and a steady hand. We don’t have a website with fancy photos. The stones speak for themselves when people come by to take a look. Some days are slow, especially if the weather is bad and the trucks can't get through the mud near the entrance. We just use those times to maintain the saws and tidy up the yard. We aren't a big outfit with a board of directors. It’s just us and the machines. We’ve been at this Babalpura location for a while now, and we’ve become a bit of a fixture near the stop. People waiting for the bus often peek in to see what we are working on. We don’t mind. It’s just regular work, and we are happy to keep doing it.
