Shri Ram Marble

Shri Ram Marble is situated on Rambag Road in the Adipur area of Takuka Gandhidham. It’s a bit of a different pace than the big industrial hubs, which we actually quite like. We have our shop and the storage area right here. Most of the people who come to see us are from around the neighborhood or from Gandhidham. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. We aren't some big chain with hundreds of locations. It’s just this one spot on Rambag Road. The marble we keep here is picked out by us, and we spend a lot of time showing customers the different veins and colors in the stone. It’s a lot of talking and walking around the yard. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned lobby. Usually, we just sit under the fan in the office and chat about what needs to be done. The work is physical and we often go home with dust on our clothes. It’s just the nature of the marble business. We try to keep the yard tidy so people can see what they are buying without tripping over things. Adipur is a nice place to work, even if it gets very hot in the summer months. We just start early and try to get the heavy work done before the afternoon heat really kicks in. It’s a simple way of doing business, and we’re happy with that. We plan on staying on Rambag Road for a long time.
