Our place is located out at Sr. No. 339/14 in Village Ratadiya. This is part of the Mundra Taluk in the Kutch region. It’s a different kind of vibe out here compared to the big cities like Ahmedabad or Rajkot. We’re surrounded by more open space and dry land, which is actually good because we need a lot of room for the heavy granite we handle. Being in Kutch, we’re fairly close to the ports and the main transport routes, which really helps when we get new material in from the quarries. The yard is big and can get incredibly hot in the summer months, but we have a steady flow of work to keep us going. We aren't a small retail shop where people buy one or two pieces; we’re more of a place where the heavy work and storage happen. We handle large slabs of granite that come straight from the sources. We don't spend money on fancy signage or big advertisements in the newspapers. Most people find us because they need specific granite in larger quantities or they know someone in the village who works here. The guys working here are mostly from the local area and they know how to move these heavy blocks safely using the equipment. It’s a quiet village life until the big trucks arrive at the gate, then it’s all go. We just focus on the stone itself, making sure it’s stored correctly and sent out.
