Welcome

The place is called Welcome, and you can find us right at the Tigaon Main Red Light Chowk on Mathura Road. It’s a very busy spot in Ballabgarh, with horns honking all the time. Being at the red light means people are always stopping right in front of our door. I’ve been running this spot for a while. It’s a simple place. We have some chairs and a counter. People pop in while they are waiting for the light to change or if they are walking to the market. I see all sorts of people every day. Some are in a huge rush, others just want to sit for a minute. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. It’s a bit cramped when it gets crowded, but we manage. I spend my day talking to customers and keeping an eye on the street. It’s a good location because everyone passes by eventually. We don't have any big signs or anything. Just the name over the door. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we are always cleaning the tables. It's a loud, lively part of town. If you’re at the Tigaon chowk, you’ve probably seen us. We’re just here doing our thing, day in and day out, watching the traffic go by. Sometimes I wonder how many cars pass by in a single day, but I usually lose count after ten minutes.
