Tiwari Watch & Cell Phone is tucked away in Faridabad N I T, right in the heart of Jawahar Colony at number 1530. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have watches on one side and mobile phones on the other. My father used to handle the watches mostly, and you can still hear all those different clocks ticking at once if the shop gets quiet for a second. These days, most people come in because their phone screen is cracked or the battery won't hold a charge anymore. We spend a lot of time hunched over with those little magnifying glasses looking at circuits. The colony is always noisy outside, with kids playing and bikes zooming past the door. We’ve got shelves full of old watch straps and those colorful plastic phone cases that the teenagers like. Sometimes we get an old mechanical watch that needs real patience to fix, which is a nice change from the digital stuff. We keep a ledger on the desk for all the repairs, and it’s getting pretty thick. There’s a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving while we work. It isn’t a luxury showroom by any means. We just have our tools, our parts, and a lot of work to do. It’s been our family spot for years, and we plan to stay right here in Jawahar Colony for a lot more to come.
