Mathura Road is always loud. We are right here at 16/6 and you can hear the trucks from morning until the sun goes down. Most days it is just me and the guys sitting behind the counter. We have a lot of mobile accessories hanging on the walls and some are getting a bit dusty. People walk in because their phone stopped working or they need a new screen guard put on. Sometimes the traffic is so bad outside that people just stop in to wait it out. We keep a few stools for them. The floor gets swept twice a day but the dust from the road comes back fast. It is a small space really. We have a small drawer for tools and another one for the cash. Lunch is usually brought from home in a steel box. If it is a busy day, we eat while standing up. The light overhead flickers sometimes so we have to tap it with a stick to make it stay on. It is not fancy here. Just a shop where we handle phones and talk to whoever walks through the door. Usually, it is just neighbors or people passing through. We close up around eight and the metal shutter makes a lot of noise when it hits the ground. That is how the day goes at Honey Communication on Mathura Road. Nothing too special about it, just work.
