We are located out at the 49th Mile Stone on the Delhi Mathura Highway, in a village called Prithla. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but being out here gives us the space we need for Vamani Overseas. The area is quite open, surrounded by fields and other industrial units. Our facility is pretty large because we handle a lot of volume. We’ve got a mix of office space and storage areas. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages, so it feels like a local community effort. The highway is right there, which is essential for our transport trucks. Every day is a bit different. Some days are slow and we spend time catching up on maintenance, while other days are frantic with loading and checking quality. It’s not a polished environment. There’s dirt on the tracks and the sound of machinery is pretty constant. We don't have a marketing team writing stories about us. We’re just a group of people making sure the overseas orders are packed and sent correctly. The weather out here in Prithla can be tough—really hot in the summer and cold in the winter—but we just get on with it. We’ve been at this milestone for years and it’s become home base for everything we do. It’s a simple, practical operation that relies on hard work rather than fancy presentations. We keep things moving as best as we can.
