Our factory is located in the DLF Industrial Area, Phase-Ii. We are across units 40 to 45, so it’s a fairly large space compared to some of the smaller workshops nearby. Being in an industrial area means it’s never quiet. There are trucks coming and going at all hours, and the smell of sawdust and varnish is pretty much constant here. We manufacture various types of furniture right on the floor. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the weather gets hot and the fans don't seem to do much. We have a team of guys who have been with us for years, just cutting wood and assembling pieces day after day. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear nice clothes. Everything is covered in a thin layer of dust. We don't really have a fancy office for meeting people; we usually just talk near the loading dock or in the middle of the workspace. Phase-Ii can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but once you find our row, you can’t miss the sound of the machines. We focus on getting the orders out to the shops and clients who buy from us. It’s a straightforward business, really. No big secrets, just lots of wood and plenty of labor to get it all shaped into something useful for people's homes.
