Nehru Ground is a pretty lively area and our spot at B-460 is right in the thick of it. We are up on the second floor, so you have to head up the stairs which can be a bit steep if you are carrying a heavy desktop tower. It is not a shiny corporate office with a receptionist and fancy coffee. It is more of a workshop where we have tools spread out and parts scattered on the benches. We have been here for a long time and the walls have a few scuffs from moving boxes around. You can hear the sounds of the market downstairs through the windows, which we usually keep open for a bit of air. The fans overhead hum all day while we work on whatever laptop or PC has been brought in. It gets dusty, but that is just part of being in this part of N.I.T. We have a small table in the corner where we keep the kettle and some cups. Most of the day is spent looking through magnifying glasses or trying to find a specific screw that rolled under a desk. It is a simple way of working. We do not have any big slogans or anything like that. We just take the devices, see what is wrong, and try to fix them. Some days are packed with people dropping things off and other days we just sit and work through the backlog. It is just a regular local business.
