It's pretty loud here at No. 111 in the New Sabzi Mandi. If you've ever been to the market early in the morning, you know how it gets with the trucks and the shouting. We set up our tech office right in the middle of all that chaos. It's a bit strange, maybe, having people coding and fixing websites while someone outside is haggling over the price of potatoes. Our office isn't anything fancy. We have some old desks, a few good computers, and a lot of tangled cables under the floor. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. Most of the time, we’re just sitting here with our headphones on, trying to ignore the noise from the street. It’s a small group of us. We drink too much tea from the stall around the corner. We don't really have a big sign or a lobby where people wait. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk right in and find us at our screens. It’s just how we work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait it out, chatting about whatever is on the news. It's a real place with real problems, but we get the work done eventually. It’s just us here at the mandi, doing what we know how to do.
