Ssp P.Ltd operates from the 13 Mile Stone on Mathura Road. It’s a wide-open area compared to the city center, but the road itself is always packed. We’ve got a decent-sized yard where we keep some of our equipment. The wind blows a lot of dust in from the highway, so we are always sweeping the floors. We’re not the type of company that has a big human resources department or a fancy lobby. We just have our work area and a small room where we take our breaks. Most of us have been working here for quite some time, so we know the drill. We start early to beat the worst of the heat and the traffic. The work is steady, mostly involving processing orders and getting them ready to go out. We don’t have a lot of meetings; we just talk over our desks. It’s a very informal atmosphere. If someone’s car breaks down on the road nearby, they sometimes come in to ask for help, and we do what we can. That’s the kind of place this is. We don’t go for anything flashy. We just want to do a good job and go home to our families at the end of the shift. It’s been our routine for a long time, and we don’t see it changing much. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day’s work.
