The Stone Stop

The Stone Stop is located at Q 97 in South City 1. It’s a decent spot, right in the middle of a well-known area. We deal with various types of stones, as the name suggests. It is not a massive operation, but we have enough variety to keep the local builders interested. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be very organized with how we stack the slabs and tiles. Every morning starts with a quick check of what we have left in stock and what needs to be ordered. We get a lot of homeowners from South City 1 who just walk over because they are doing some small renovations. They usually want to see the texture of the stone before they buy anything. We don’t have a lot of fancy lights or a big display area; it’s just the stone sitting there for people to look at. The street outside can get a bit crowded with cars, so unloading new shipments is always a bit of a task. We try to keep things quiet so we don't bother the neighbors too much. It’s a steady kind of work. We talk to people about their projects, show them what might work, and then help them load it up. It’s just a regular local business trying to provide what people in the area are looking for.
