Our business is based in Village Badkhal, specifically at B 409. We are right near the Choti Masjid, which most people in the village know. We specialize in rodi and other materials used for construction. It’s a small operation, mostly run by a few of us from the family. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. Our workspace is mostly just where the materials are piled up ready for delivery. People call us up when they are starting a new foundation or doing some road work nearby. We’ve been doing this for years, so we know the area like the back of our hand. It’s not the cleanest job, you end up with dust on your clothes every single day. But it is honest work and people need what we provide. We try to be helpful and give people advice on how much material they might actually need so they don’t overspend on their projects. The village is a tight-knit place, so news travels fast if you don't do a good job. We make sure to keep our word and get the stuff delivered on time as much as possible. It is a simple life here in Badkhal. We take things as they come and try to keep the business running smoothly without any unnecessary stress. Most days we are just happy to see the trucks leave the yard full and come back empty.
