Shri Balaji Communications

Out here in Ballabhgarh at 746/2, Shri Balaji Communications is where we spend most of our hours. It’s a straightforward shop dealing with all the usual phone stuff. Whether it’s getting a new connection or figuring out why a SIM card isn’t working, people just walk in and we see what we can do. The area is quite active, so we see a lot of different faces every day. We don’t have a lot of space, but we use every inch of the shelves for covers, cables, and batteries. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t go for big displays or bright lights that give you a headache. We just have a counter and a few stools. Sometimes it gets crowded when three or four people come in at once, and we have to ask them to wait a bit. We try to be honest about how long a repair will take. If we can’t fix it, we just say so. There’s no point in making promises we can’t keep. The shop has been a part of this street for a while now. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a simple way to earn a living. We keep track of our stock in a big notebook mostly. It’s not high-tech behind the scenes, but it keeps things moving. People appreciate that we’re right here in the neighborhood and they don’t have to go far for help.
