Sai Electrovision & Communication

Our shop, Sai Electrovision & Communication, is located at 5L-160 in the NIT area of Faridabad. We’ve been here for a long time. We deal with a lot of electronics, mostly televisions and some mobile phones. The walls are lined with screens, though we don't always have them all turned on because of the electricity bill. It’s a local business, so we know many of the families who live around 5L. They come to us when their TV remote stops working or when they want to upgrade to something bigger. We also do some mobile work, like recharges and small repairs. The shop is usually a bit cluttered with boxes. We try to keep it organized, but when a new shipment comes in, there’s stuff everywhere for a few days. I run the place with my younger brother. He’s better at the technical stuff, while I talk to the customers. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just put a board outside. People know us for being straightforward. If something isn't worth fixing, we tell them. There’s no point in wasting their money and our time. It’s a decent living. We see the same faces year after year. Sometimes people just stop by to chat for a few minutes while they are out getting groceries. We like being part of the neighborhood. It is a good place to be.
