Our workspace is tucked into the Sushant Shopping Arcade, specifically units G 314 through 316. Being in Acharya Puri means we are right in the middle of a lot of retail activity. It’s a convenient spot because we can grab whatever we need just by walking down the hall. We work as developers, which sounds more complicated than it really is on a daily basis. Most of our time is spent looking at blueprints, talking to contractors, and dealing with the city paperwork. It can be a bit of a headache sometimes, especially when there are delays with materials. The office is usually cluttered with samples of tiles or bits of wood. We don’t really bother with fancy decorations because we are usually too busy to notice. There are three of us here most days. We’ve seen the area around Sushant Shopping Arcade change quite a bit since we first moved in. New shops open and old ones close, but we stay put. People often stop by to ask about upcoming projects or just to see what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big sales pitch. We just show what we are building and let the work speak. It’s a lot of long hours and phone calls, but we like seeing a project go from a drawing to a real building. That is basically our life here in Acharya Puri.
