Our office is tucked away in Jawahar Colony on Gurudwara Road, at JD-123. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of narrow lanes and people walking around. We function as an agency, which means we spend a lot of our time coordinating between suppliers and the local shops that buy from us. The building is an older one, and we use the ground floor for storage and a small desk area. You can hear the prayers from the nearby Gurudwara in the mornings and evenings, which is quite nice actually. We handle various types of goods, mostly distribution for household items that people need every day. There is a lot of paperwork involved, keeping track of what comes in and what goes out on the delivery rickshaws. It can get pretty chaotic when three different deliveries arrive at the same time and we have to find space for all the boxes. My nephew helps me with the logistics and the heavy lifting. We don't have a fancy showroom because we mostly deal with other businesses rather than walk-in customers. It’s a practical environment where we focus on getting the stock moved quickly. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked by a truck, and we have to wait for things to clear up before we can finish our work. We've been at JD-123 for quite a long time now and the neighborhood has grown so much around us. It is just a steady, local operation.
