Altalux International Exports & Imports Pvt. Ltd. is based out of LA Grand Farm in Village Uncha Gaon, right on Malerna Road in Ballabgarh. It’s a bit of a different setting than a city office block. Being in a village area means it’s a little quieter, and there’s more space around us. We’ve got a mix of office space and storage areas. The building itself is pretty basic. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer, dealing with the international part of our name. It sounds more impressive than it looks when you’re actually here. Usually, it’s just a couple of us sitting in a room with a fan whirring overhead, trying to sort out customs forms or shipping schedules. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, making it fun for the trucks. We’ve been here for a bit and the local people know us. It’s a laid-back atmosphere most of the time, until a deadline hits. Then everyone is running around trying to find the right paperwork. We don't have a big corporate culture. We just know each other well and work together to keep the business running. It’s a practical setup in a quiet spot, and that suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, day after day, without making much of a fuss about it. It’s a simple life out here.
