S. S. S. Impex

Being located at 5b/75 in NIT Faridabad means we are right in the middle of a very active area. S. S. S. Impex is run out of this space, and it’s a pretty straightforward operation. We don’t have a lot of extra room, so we have to be organized with our folders and samples. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and maps. Working in NIT Faridabad has its own rhythm. The mornings are usually the busiest because that’s when the mail comes and the first set of calls starts coming in. We spend our time managing the flow of goods and making sure the documentation is in order. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, but they are important to keep things moving. We don't have a reception desk or anyone to greet you with a script. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We drink a lot of water and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone trying to figure out why. It’s just a regular office life with desks, chairs, and a very old printer that we probably should have replaced a year ago. We like being in this part of Faridabad because everything we need is close by. It’s just us doing our thing day in and day out.
