Our office is over in Sector 27B, right across from the NHPC Chowk Metro Station. It’s quite easy to find us if you’re taking the train, which is a relief because the Delhi Mathura Road gets incredibly packed during rush hour. We are up on the fifth floor of SSR Corporate Park. Kelley Material Handling is basically what the name says. We deal with equipment for warehouses and loading docks. It’s heavy stuff, not particularly glamorous, but it’s necessary for moving goods around. There are several of us here handling the orders and checking the specs. The coffee machine in the breakroom is probably the most used thing in the office besides the computers. We get a lot of calls about spare parts or how to fix a certain gate. It’s practical work. We don’t spend much time on fancy presentations. Most of the guys know the equipment inside and out. It can get loud sometimes when everyone is on the phone at once. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now. The view from the window isn't much, just the highway and the metro tracks, but it keeps us connected to the city. We just focus on getting the right gear to the right sites. It’s a straightforward business with no real frills. We keep the paperwork moving and try to stay on top of the inventory lists. It’s a lot of manual tracking sometimes, but we prefer it that way to avoid mistakes.
