Our shop is located in the Palwal Hodal area, right where the local builders and house owners usually pass by. Jagdish Chand and Manish Kumar started this place because hardware is something everyone needs eventually. Whether it is a leaky pipe or a door that won't shut, we usually have the part for it. The shop is full of metal smells and wooden crates. We have rows of jars filled with different sizes of nails and screws. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the exact thing a customer wants because we have so much tucked away in the back corners. It is a family-run spot, so you will usually see one of us sitting behind the counter near the entrance. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. People in Hodal just know we are here. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the cement bags we move around. We sell tools, hammers, some paints, and bathroom fittings too. It is a long day from morning to night, especially when the sun is hot outside. We talk to the contractors and the local guys who are just trying to fix something at home. We don't use any fancy computer systems for the stock; we just know where things are. It is a basic hardware store for basic needs, and we like it that way.
