Indian Coffee House

We’ve been here at Plot No.D-27 in Dayalband for a while now. Most people know us because we are right on the Main Road, just a short walk from Shiksha Vatika. It gets pretty busy around here during the day with all the traffic passing by. We open up early and start getting things ready. It’s a plain place, nothing too fancy. You’ll see the same faces every morning coming in for their usual cup. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but nobody seems to mind much. We just focus on making the coffee like it’s always been made. The walls have been the same color for years. Being near Shiksha Vatika means we get a lot of students and teachers stopping in between their classes. It’s nice to see the neighborhood change over the years while we stay mostly the same. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us. Sometimes we run out of chairs when it rains and everyone crowds inside. The street outside is always moving, but inside here, things feel a bit slower. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure the tables are wiped down. It’s just us working here, trying to get through the day and making sure the coffee is hot. If you are walking down the Main Road, you can usually smell it before you see the sign. That’s just how it is at Indian Coffee House.
