Gurmukh Machine Tools

We are right across from the Gurudwara in Jawahar Colony. Gurmukh Machine Tools has been at this address, number 408, for quite some time. It's easy to find us because of the landmark. The shop is filled with various machine parts and tools that we sell to local workshops. Most of our days are spent talking to mechanics or factory guys who need a specific part to get their machines running again. It gets a bit crowded inside when we have a lot of stock delivered. We don't really have a big team, just a couple of us handling everything from sales to packing. The noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We keep things pretty informal. If a customer comes in, we have a chat and see what they need. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when it's not too hot. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand in a ledger. It’s a honest way to make a living. People know they can find us here six days a week. We don't promise anything we can't do. We just supply the tools and hope they work well for the people buying them. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on the main road, but we try to keep people updated. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we've been too busy to get to it.
