M.M. Castings Pvt. Ltd. is way out on Jajru Road in Sector 59, Jharsainili, Ballabgarh. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here. The road can be rough, especially after the rains. We run a casting operation, which means it’s hot and dusty work. There’s no way around it. When the furnaces are going, you can feel the heat from the gate. We work with molten metal and moulds all day long. It’s a tough environment, and the people who work here are hardened to it. We don't have a fancy office. The walls are stained with soot, and the furniture is old. We focus on the castings. That’s what matters to us. We don't have a sales team roaming around. Our customers know where we are and what we can do. Most of the day is spent managing the pours and making sure the moulds are set right. We have a lot of scrap metal piled up in the yard. It’s not a pretty sight, but it’s part of the process. We eat our meals together in a small shed away from the main heat. It’s a basic life. We aren't trying to impress anyone with corporate talk. We just do the castings and send them out on the trucks. It’s honest, heavy work in a dusty part of Ballabgarh. The sun goes down, we clean up, and then we head home to rest for the next day.
