Goldy Telecom has been sitting here at number 330 in Shastri Colony, Old Faridabad, for quite some time. It’s a small place, but we manage to fit a lot of stuff inside. Most people around here know us for mobile recharges or when their screen cracks and they need it fixed without spending a fortune. It’s usually just one or two of us behind the glass counter. We spend a lot of our day looking at tiny screws and circuit boards. The shop isn't exactly modern-looking, but we have the tools we need to get the job done. Often, neighbors just drop in to ask how to use a new app or why their signal is acting up. We don’t mind. It’s part of being in Old Faridabad. The street outside is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise, but inside we just focus on the phones. We keep some basic accessories like chargers and earphones on the walls. Nothing too fancy, just the things people actually use every day. Sometimes the parts take a day or two to arrive if it’s an old model, but we try to keep people updated. It’s a regular local business. We don't have big ads or anything. Most of our work comes from people walking by or folks telling their cousins to come to us. We’ve seen the technology change a lot over the years, from basic buttons to these big touchscreens everyone has now.
