Gaur Marble & Granite

Gaur Marble & Granite is our family business situated right in the Marble Market near Badhkal Bridge. Our main office is at H.O -114 in Sector -21C. If you’ve ever walked through this area, you know how white the ground gets from all the stone dust. We have stacks of slabs everywhere, from local marbles to different types of granite. It's a heavy business. We spend our days moving these massive stones with the crane and talking to homeowners who are usually overwhelmed by all the choices. Choosing stone for a kitchen or a floor is a big deal for them, so we just let them walk around and look. My brother and I take turns managing the yard. It can get pretty hot out there in the summer. We don't have a glossy catalog or a high-end website. People usually just show up because they saw our sign or heard about us from a builder. We cut the stones to the sizes people ask for and try to make sure the edges are clean. Sometimes the slabs have natural cracks or patterns that people don't like, so we have to find the right piece that fits their vision. It’s physical work and our clothes are always covered in grit by the end of the day. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and know most of the other sellers around the bridge.
