Working out of Faridabad, Escotoonz Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend our time making things move on screens. It’s a gritty, industrial city in some parts, but our space is filled with drawings and computer screens that stay on way too late. We don’t have a big glass building; we’re just in a regular spot where the air is thick and the summers are really hot. We mostly focus on animation and the creative side of things, which means a lot of us are constantly sketching or clicking away at mouse pads. There’s always a bit of a mess on the desks—stylus pens, half-empty water bottles, and piles of reference notes. We aren’t a corporate giant, just a group of people who actually enjoy the process of building characters and stories. The local tea stall is where most of our big ideas actually get discussed because it’s nice to get some fresh air. Faridabad has its own rhythm, and we’ve adapted to it over the years. We deal with the usual stuff like slow internet or hardware that needs upgrading, but we make it work. It’s a down-to-earth environment. We don’t wear suits or have formal meetings; we just gather around someone’s monitor and talk through what needs to change. It’s honest work that takes a lot of patience. We just keep our heads down and try to produce something we aren't embarrassed by at the end of the day.
