Kumar Tent House

Kumar Tent House is located right on the Palwal Bypass Road. It’s a very open area and we get a lot of wind and dust coming off the road, which keeps us busy with the cleaning. Being on the bypass is good because it’s easy for the big trucks to get in and out when we are moving the heavy tents and stage parts. Our yard is usually full of activity, with people loading up metal frames or sorting through different colors of cloth. It can be quite loud with the traffic going by all day, but you stop noticing it after a few hours. The Palwal Bypass Road location gives us plenty of space, which we definitely need for all the equipment we have to store. We don't have a fancy office building, just a simple place where we can sit down and talk about what needs to be delivered and where. Most of the work happens outside in the heat. It’s a tough business and your hands get calloused from handling the ropes and the metal pipes every day. We don’t really do any big marketing or anything, we just stay here at our spot and wait for the work to come. It’s a basic way of living, but we have been doing it this way for a long time and it seems to work out just fine for us and the crew.
