Our company, Disha Softech Pvt Ltd, is based at B 125 in Shyam Nagar, Palwal. It’s a quiet residential area mostly, which is nice for a software company like ours. We have a small team of people who are good with computers and code. The office is basically one big room where everyone sits together. We don’t have cubicles or big private offices because we like being able to just shout a question across the room. Haryana is a good place to be, and Palwal has been our home for a while. We started with just two people and a couple of old laptops. Now we have a few more people and better screens, but the vibe is still the same. We aren't a big tech giant with a gym or a cafeteria. We usually just order food from the place down the street or bring lunch from home. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of life here. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy logos. We just focus on writing the software and making sure it works. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. Most of us have been here since the start and we know how the projects go. We stay late if a bug is being stubborn, but we try to get home for dinner. The office cat usually hangs out on the porch when it's sunny. It keeps things relaxed around here for everyone.
