Bon System

Being located at B-362 in the Nehru Ground area of Faridabad N I T means there is always something happening. You can hear people shouting from the sports ground when a game is on. Inside Bon System, things are a bit quieter but also messy with wires. We deal with computer systems and parts mostly. There are boxes stacked in the corner that we haven't moved in months. The desk is covered in screws and screwdrivers because someone is always taking something apart. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there in the dark waiting for the backup to kick in. The tea seller from the corner brings us small glasses of chai every afternoon around four. That is usually when we take a break. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint but nobody really has the time to move all the machines out of the way. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. They live nearby or work in the shops down the street. It is a decent spot to be in, even if the parking outside is a nightmare most days. We just keep the doors open and see who needs help with their PC or needs a cable replaced. It is just a regular shop where we get things done without much fuss. The lights go off at seven and we head home.
