Anapurna Food Place

We are located at A 1695, right by Gate No 1 on Mother Dairy Road. It is a very busy corner of Faridabad in the Green Field Colony area. The shop is not very large, but we make it work for what we need to do every day. Every morning starts exactly the same way with getting the kitchen ready and making sure the stove is lit. The heat from the cooking can get pretty intense during the summer months, but the ceiling fans help a bit to keep us going. People from around the colony stop by throughout the day. Some are just passing through on their way to the dairy, while others are neighbors who have been coming here for many years. The walls are a bit plain and the floor has some scuffs from all the foot traffic, but that is just how a working shop looks. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or the paint. We are more focused on the food and getting the bags packed for the people waiting. It is a lot of standing on your feet all day long. Sometimes the supply truck is late and we have to wait around, which can be quite frustrating for us. My cousin helps me out behind the counter when things get really crowded in the evenings. We just try to keep things simple and get through the day.
