Agrawal Cold Drinks is right on the Main Mathura Road By Pass Road in Faridabad. Being near the Sales Tax Office means there are always people moving around, especially truck drivers and people coming to do government work. Our place is mostly about keeping things cool. We have several big refrigerators that hum all day long, filled with water, sodas, and juices. It gets incredibly dusty because of all the traffic on the bypass road, so we are constantly cleaning the bottles so they don't look grey. It is a noisy spot with the sound of horns and engines constant in the background. We also keep some packets of chips and light snacks because people who are traveling always seem to be hungry. There isn't really a place to sit down inside; it is more of a quick stop where you grab what you need and move on. I spend most of my day standing near the coolers and handing out change. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the drinks getting warm, but we've gotten used to managing those problems over the years. It is a simple business on a very busy road. We don't try to be anything other than a place to get a cold drink when the sun is beating down on the Faridabad pavement. It is a practical shop for a very practical location.
