Jan Kalyaan Inter College

It’s an inter college, so we have the older kids here, and they can be quite a handful sometimes. The building is a bit older, and it has that solid, lived-in feel to it. We spend most of our time just managing the flow of students and making sure the classes start on time. Etah can be a tough place in the summer, so we’re always making sure there’s enough water and that the fans are working in the main hall. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. Most of what we do is just basic administration and making sure the grounds are kept somewhat decent. The people working here are just locals who have been around for years. We know the families in Sikrari Lalpur pretty well by now. It’s a lot of paperwork and manual work, like moving desks around for exams or cleaning up after the day is done. We don't try to sound like a big corporation because we aren't one. We’re just a school in a small part of Etah, doing our best to keep things moving along for the students who come through our doors every morning. It’s a regular job for us, and we just take it day by day.
