Ganga Ji Maharani Inter College

If you travel down towards Sidhpura in the Etah district, you will find us located right in the heart of the community. Ganga Ji Maharani Inter College is where a lot of the local teenagers end up for their higher secondary years. Being in Sidhpura means we are surrounded by familiar faces and families we have known for years. The building itself is quite traditional and has seen many batches of students come and go over the seasons. We have rooms for the different subjects and a common area where everyone gathers. It can get quite busy in the mornings when the students arrive on their bicycles or by foot from the surrounding lanes. There is always someone at the gate greeting people. We try to keep things organized, but like any school with lots of young people, it can get a bit loud and messy sometimes. That is just life here. The teachers focus on getting through the syllabus and helping the kids get ready for their exams. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just desks, boards, and books. People in Etah know we are here if they need a place for their children to continue their education after the middle years. It is a straightforward setup, run by people who live right here in the same neighborhood. We see ourselves as a regular part of the Sidhpura landscape, just doing the daily work of running a college.
