Vrikssha Agro Products

Our business, Vrikssha Agro Products, is located at 3/356 A on Dharapuaram Road in Gobichettipalayam. It’s a busy location because the road is a main artery for the area. You’ll see plenty of trucks and carts passing by all day long. We deal with various agro products that come in from the surrounding countryside. The warehouse is a large, open space that gets quite warm in the afternoon. We have stacks of bags and crates everywhere, and it can look a bit chaotic to an outsider, but we have our own system. There isn’t a formal office with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have a small desk in the corner where we keep the receipts and the phone. We spend most of our time out on the floor, checking the quality of the produce and talking to the drivers. The team here is small, and most of us have lived in Gobichettipalayam all our lives. We don't use any complicated software to run things. It’s mostly done with notebooks and a lot of memory. Sometimes a shipment is late or the weather ruins a batch, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest exporters in the region. We just want to keep the business running and make sure the products get where they are going. It’s just regular work for us.
