Cinthamani Nursery & Primary School. You can find us at No 7 Thiruvika Street in Puliyampatti. It is a quiet enough spot in the Sathiyamangalam area of Erode. We focus on the small kids here, the ones just starting out with their ABCs and numbers. The school building is simple and sits right in the heart of the community. Every morning, parents drop off their little ones at the gate, and there is usually a bit of crying from the new students. We have colorful charts on the walls to help the children learn their fruits and animals. The rooms are filled with the sound of kids reciting poems or counting out loud together. Since we are a primary school, the energy is always high. Lunchtime is a bit of a mess with tiffin boxes and spilled water, but that is how it goes with five-year-olds. We do our best to keep them focused on their lessons before they get too tired in the afternoon heat. The staff here are mostly local women from around Pulimpatti. We know most of the families by now because the older siblings used to come here too. It feels more like a big house than a big institution. There is a small space for them to play during the breaks. We just keep things running one day at a time, making sure the kids are safe and learning something basic before they go home.
