Smile Exports & Imports

We are over here at No. 3/195 Velamar Thottam, just a bit outside Bhavani Tk in Koothampatti. It's a quiet spot most days, but it gets busy when the trucks show up. My name is on the paperwork usually, but it’s a team effort with the guys here. We mostly spend our time checking boxes and making sure the labels are right. Sometimes the rain slows us down since the yard gets a bit muddy, but we manage. Most of our day is just handling the items coming in and getting them ready to go back out again. It’s not fancy. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. We’ve been at this for a while now. Neighbors often drop by for a quick chat while we’re loading up. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the address and the name Smile Exports & Imports on some of the documents. Every morning starts with some tea from the shop down the road. Then we look at what needs to be moved. Shipping things out takes time and there's a lot of waiting for drivers. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of crates get a bit high. It’s just how it goes when you’re doing this kind of work in Bhavani. We like the area and the people around here are good to us. That's pretty much the whole story of what happens here every day at our little place.
