We are based out of Doddampalayam, specifically at number 8/35 on Amman Koil Street. It’s quite close to the Bhavanisagar Dam, so we get a bit of a breeze from the water sometimes. Being near the dam is nice, especially during the summer. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly stuff related to shipping and trade. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working out of this space. The street is usually quiet, except for when people are heading down to the dam area. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. It’s not the kind of work that looks exciting from the outside, but it keeps us on our toes. The building we are in is an older one, but it does the job. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address on the door. Most people who deal with us have known us for years. We grew up around here, so we know the area well. Sometimes we take a break and walk down towards the water to clear our heads. It’s a practical business, nothing flashy about it. We just make sure everything is where it needs to be and that the paperwork is handled. It’s a steady rhythm we’ve got going on here. We don't plan on moving anywhere else. This spot suits us just fine for what we need to get done.
