St Johns Entrance Academy

We are located over at Tb Jn. in Angamaly, right near the Tb. St Johns Entrance Academy is a place where we help students get ready for their entrance exams. It’s a big deal for them, so we try to take it seriously but keep the atmosphere calm. The classrooms are simple. We’ve got benches and boards and a lot of old question papers stacked up. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but it’s not too bad. Angamaly is a good place to be. We get students from all the nearby villages. Some of them travel quite a bit to get here. We’ve been doing this for years, so we’ve seen many groups of kids come and go. We aren't some polished institute with a lot of staff. It’s mostly just a few of us who have been teaching for a long time. We know the syllabus well and we know where students usually get stuck. We don't use any fancy gadgets, just clear explanations and plenty of practice. Sometimes we stay late when a student is struggling with a topic. That’s just part of the job. We aren't here to be a big business; we're here to help these kids get to the next step. The building is old and the fans squeak a little, but it’s where all the work happens. We put in the hours because we know how much these exams matter to the families around here.
