Raindrops Kids Dream World

Raindrops Kids Dream World is a small place for young children located in Vyttila, Ernakulam. We are tucked away in Sahakarana Road Lane 2, which is a bit of a relief because the main Vyttila junction is always so crowded and loud with traffic. Being in a lane makes it a bit safer for the parents who are dropping off their toddlers. The building is colorful but simple, and we have decorated the inside with things that kids like to look at. Since it is for small children, there are plenty of toys scattered around and low tables where they can sit and draw. The staff here are mostly women from the neighborhood who have a lot of patience. We spend the day following a simple schedule of playing, eating, and a little bit of learning. The name "Raindrops" sounds a bit fancy, but we are actually just a regular local preschool. We have a small outdoor area that is fenced off so the kids can get some fresh air. It gets quite busy in the mornings, but by the afternoon, it becomes very quiet once the children go home for their naps. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the kids are safe and have something to do while their parents are at work. It is a humble setup that works well for the families living around this part of Ernakulam. We just keep it simple every day.
