Kids Hub

Kids Hub is run out of Nedumattathil House over in the Vyttila area. It’s a busy place because there is always something going on with the kids. We started this because we saw a real need in the neighborhood for a space like this. The house isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. Most days start early with setting things up and getting toys or materials ready. It’s pretty loud sometimes, but that’s expected when you have children around. We don’t really do much advertising; most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends who live nearby. There is always a lot of cleaning up to do at the end of the day. We have a few rooms set aside for different activities. Some of the parents stop by to chat when they drop their kids off. It’s a very local thing, very grounded in the community here. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. Just a regular house where we do our thing. Sometimes the supplies run low and one of us has to run out and grab more paper or colors. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a kid is having a bad day, we just deal with it as it comes. It is a lot of work, but it feels right being part of the local life here. We've been at this address for a bit now and people know where to find us in the house.
