Ayavana Panchayath Lower Primary School

Ayavana Panchayath Lower Primary School is situated in Enanalloor, specifically out on the Avoly Kallorkkad Road. We are part of the local government education system, which means we work closely with the panchayath to keep things running. The school is in a fairly rural part of Ernakulam, so it is surrounded by a lot of greenery and local houses. We have students coming from all over the Enanelloor P.O. area. Our daily routine involves getting the classrooms ready, overseeing the mid-day meals, and making sure the kids are actually learning something useful. It is a lot of work for a small staff, and we often find ourselves multitasking to get everything finished before the day ends. The building is basic, as you would expect from a panchayath school, but it is our second home. We know the parents and even the grandparents of many of these kids because they likely went to school here too. It gives the place a sense of history that you don't find in newer cities. We don't have big budgets for marketing or anything, so we just rely on doing our job well enough that the community stays happy with us. It’s a simple, honest life here on the road between Avoly and Kallorkkad, and we are just glad to be a part of the kids' early years, teaching them what they need to know.
