If you come down to North Parvur, you’ll find us at Plot No 1-2. It’s a pretty large space, which is good because we always have crates and boxes moving in and out. The humidity here can be something else, especially in the afternoons when the air just feels heavy. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans going full blast all day, but they mostly just move the warm air around. The floor is concrete and stays cool at least. We don't really have a front desk person. Usually, whoever is closest to the door when someone knocks is the one who answers it. It’s a bit disorganized if you look at it from the outside, but we know where everything is. We spend most of the day on the phone or checking lists. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most of us are in t-shirts and jeans because of the dust. There’s a stray dog that hangs around the gate; we call him Tiger even though he’s mostly terrified of everything. He’s basically part of the team now. We’ve been in this plot for years and the neighborhood has grown up around us. It used to be much emptier back when we started. Now there’s a lot more noise and people, but we’ve got our own little rhythm going. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come through the door.
